Women Grievance Cell at KPS ensures the absolute security, quality of life and wellbeing of women employee and students in the campus. The Cell promptly looks into all kind of complaints so as to protect the interests of the women and safeguard them from any form abuse or harassment in the campus. The Cell has the following aims and objectives.
To prevent sexual harassment and to promote the general well-being of female students, teaching and non-teaching women staff of the College.
To provide appropriate working conditions in respect of work, leisure, health and hygiene to further ensure that there is no hostile environment towards women at work places and that no woman employee has reasonable grounds to believe that she is disadvantaged in connection with her employment.
To provide guidelines for the redressal of grievances related to sexual harassment of female students, teaching and non-teaching women staff of the University.
In case of any kind of victimization, complain in writing or on phone can be lodged with any of the member of the Cell. The complaint can also be sent through email at kpspolytechnic@gmail.com. The Cell consists of a team of specialised members to handle such grievances & offences.
